We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference of Traumatologists and Orthopaedists entitled: “INTERDISCIPLINARY TRAUMATOLOGY AND ORTHOPAEDICS: FROM DIAGNOSIS TO REHABILITATION”. The Conference is dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 25th Anniversary of the RSE on REM “National Scientific Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Academician N.D. Batpenov” of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Conference Organizers are Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Scientific Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Academician N.D. Batpenov, Kazakhstan Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists, Academician Nurlan Batpenov Public Foundation.

Venue: Nazarbayev University, 64 Turan Avenue, Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Conference aims to promote the exchange of professional experience, facilitate discussion of current challenges in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, and encourage the implementation of the latest scientific advances into clinical practice in traumatology and orthopaedics.

The Conference program will include plenary and breakout sessions, master classes, satellite courses, poster presentations, a dedicated Young Scientists session, as well as an exhibition of medical equipment and medical devices.

The scientific program will cover the following topics:

1. Innovative Technologies in Traumatology and Orthopaedics: Educational Perspectives and Clinical Implementation
2. Advanced Concepts in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty
3. New Horizons in Arthroscopic Surgery
4. Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
5. Current Challenges and Future Directions in Pediatric Traumatology and Orthopaedics
6. The Role of Nursing Care in Post-Traumatic and Postoperative Patient Recovery
7. Contemporary Issues in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The Conference welcomes leading national and international experts, trauma and orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, nursing professionals, representatives of medical universities, research institutions, and healthcare organizations.

The Conference is planned as an in-person event. The official languages of the Conference are Kazakh, Russian, and English.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The abstracts accepted for the Anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference of Traumatologists and Orthopedists entitled “INTERDISCIPLINARY TRAUMATOLOGY AND ORTHOPAEDICS: FROM DIAGNOSIS TO REHABILITATION” will be published in the scientific and practical journal Traumatology and Orthopaedics of Kazakhstan. The Conference is dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 25th Anniversary of National Scientific Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Academician N.D. Batpenov of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

ABSTRACTS MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA THE JOURNAL WEBSITE:

1. General Requirements. Abstracts must present original, previously unpublished data. The language of publication is English. Authors are solely responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the data presented. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make editorial changes to submitted abstracts if such changes do not affect the scientific content or significance of the work.
2. Abstract Format. The abstract should contain 300–500 words. Tables and figures are not permitted. References are optional and, if included, should contain no more than three citations.
3. Structure. Each abstract should include: title, author information (authors and affiliations), main text, keywords, references (optional). First line: Title in UPPERCASE LETTERS (concise, without abbreviations). Second line: Full names of all authors (the presenting author should be listed first). Third line: Position, institution, city, country, and e-mail address of the presenting author. The main text should begin on a new line.

3.1.Author Information. Please provide: Full names of all authors, Institutional affiliation(s), city and country, contact e-mail address of the presenting (corresponding) author.

3.2. Main Text.  The abstract should include the following sections: Introduction (background and rationale), Objective, Materials and Methods (study design, sample size, and principal methods), Results, Conclusions, Keywords. Keywords must be selected using the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) vocabulary of Index Medicus. A maximum of six keywords is recommended.

4. Ethical Requirements. Authors must provide information regarding the review and/or approval of the study protocol by an institutional Research Ethics Committee (Bioethics Committee), including: name of the institution where the Ethics Committee is registered, protocol approval number, date of approval. A statement declaring the presence or absence of any conflicts of interest must also be included at the end of the abstract.
5. Technical Requirements. Abstracts should be prepared in Microsoft Word using: Arial, 12-point font; single line spacing; 2 cm margins on all sides.
6. Abstract Review Criteria. Submitted abstracts will undergo editorial review and will be evaluated according to the following criteria: scientific originality; methodological rigor; practical relevance; compliance with the scientific scope of the Conference.
