Anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference of Traumatologists and Orthopedists «INTERDISCIPLINARY TRAUMATOLOGY AND ORTHOPEDICS: FROM DIAGNOSIS TO REHABILITATION», dedicated to 35 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 25th anniversary of the RSE REM «National Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Academician N. D. Batpenov»
Purpose: To support the initiatives of young scientists and facilitate the realization of their research potential.

Students of medical universities, interns, residents, doctoral candidates, and research staff of organizations under the age of 40 who are actively engaged in scientific research are invited to participate in the Competition.

Applications for participation in the Competition, accompanied by the required supporting materials, must be submitted no later than June 20, 2026, to the following email address: batpenov_readings@nscto.kz.

To participate in the Competition, applicants are required to submit the following documents (in electronic format):

Time: 09:00–13:00
1. Participant Application Form (Appendix 1);
2. Abstract in Russian, Kazakh, or English (not exceeding 3 pages; each page should contain no more than 38 lines, with up to 65 characters per line). The abstract must clearly specify the individual contribution of the applicant. The abstract must be submitted under a single authorship. Each applicant may submit only one paper to the Competition;
3. List of published works relevant to the research topic submitted for the Competition, with supporting materials (electronic copies/screenshots of publications, where available).

Following the submission of the application, participants are required to prepare a presentation (ppt/pptx format) in English. Presentations prepared in other languages will not be accepted for the Competition. The oral presentation may be delivered in Kazakh, Russian, or English, at the participant’s discretion.

Presentation duration: up to 7 minutes.

Submission of materials to the Competition shall constitute the participant’s consent to the processing and use of the submitted data by the Competition Jury.

The winner shall be determined by a designated Jury.

Prize Fund: monetary awards in the total equivalent of USD 1,000:
1st place – USD 500
2nd place – USD 300
3rd place – USD 200
